I was diagnosed with tinnitus about 15 years ago. It started during a camping trip with my son’s troop when I had a sinus infection. Normally, the ringing that accompanied my sinus infections would go away, but for some reason, this time it didn’t stop—it just kept going.

As I’ve gotten older, my tinnitus has become more aggressive. While it hasn’t interfered with my sleep, it has definitely been annoying and can get really intense anytime I’m in a quiet environment.
